I really can’t make a connection with anything or anyone in this book. To me, it is really hard to understand and even though, the chapters are really short, the story goes no where. So i don’t have a connection to this story at all.
Basically, this new book is about a boy, Bryce who has just moved into town and he can’t get away from the new girl in his neighborhood. But the girl, Julianna (Juli) has a different story, she can’t get enough from him. One person wants to be left alone, the other wants to be with the other person. I can make a connection with Bryce in this book because I know how it feels when someone likes you and you don’t want anything to do with them. Let’s see how this plays out.
I guess I can make a connection with Jacob.. The way he fights with his friends to rid the world of the monsters. That is kind of how I feel when I am fighting my own problems, whether it would be fears or personal problems in life. It connects with the book because each and every character in the book are struggling trying to get rid of the monsters, whether they put aside their personal problems and fears.
I think I can make a connection with Piddy because I know what it is like to be the new kid in the school and no body likes you. I used to be the new kid in school and uno one used to like me because of my skin color or where I came from
I think that I can make a connection with Rainsford being stuck on Ship Trap Island. If I was stuck on an island and being forced to hunt a new fake animal, then I wouldn’t want to hunt it i would just want to leave it be and just find a way to get off the island.
